Rest for 15–20 minutes lying down. Sip 150ml water slowly. The IV has delivered the medications — allow them to circulate. Remove IV plaster and press firmly for 2 minutes.

30 minutes
Most patients feel significantly better by now. Drink 250ml ORS or coconut water. Try ½ a banana. Take NAC 600mg and Milk Thistle if provided — with the banana.

1 hour after
Eat light: scrambled eggs, toast with honey, or oatmeal. Continue hydrating 200ml per hour. Rest in a cool dark room — light and sound sensitivity may still be present.

Normal breakfast if appetite permits. Ginger tea is excellent at this stage. Short gentle walk is fine. Continue avoiding coffee, alcohol, and direct sun exposure.
